Richmond saw it go from beautiful to a rain out over the Toyota sponsored Spring race weekend. Friday practices, qualifying and the Xfinity Series ToyotaCare 250 went off with blue and clear skies into the evening. The clouds rolled in quick overnight and held Richmond International Raceway hostage all day forcing the scheduled night race into the clearing light of Sunday.
It was a day for Ford and Chevy while Toyota banners and pace cars shadowed the action. Joey Logano started on the pole in his #22 Ford and Kurt Busch put the #41 Chevy out front on lap 95. Busch was challenged, most notably by Jamie McMurray, but none could get by or keep it from the #41 HAAS Automation Chevy. Kurt Busch, after a rough start missing three races from legal issues, has his first win in 2015 at RIR.
